Rain is something London and Copenhagen have in common: both cities hit the top three with their annual watery average. Although we love a good grumble about the grey British weather, we can’t help but be grateful for the Danish downpours. They helped spark the creation of one of our favourite outerwear brands: RAINS
RAINS effortlessly bridges style and functionality, inspired by the cosmopolitan culture and colour (and weather) of Copenhagen. High quality materials and practical features are combined with clean Scandinavian design for a reinterpretation of the classic raincoat. Expect hidden air ventilation, waterproof zip pockets, cap function hoods, and stellar collaborations with the freshest up-and-comers around. Check designer Asger Juel Larsen, Copenhagen sneaker store Rezet and Royal College of Art graduate Raj Mistry for reference.
Responsible for some of the coolest imagery in our Instagram feed, RAINS made it their mission to inspire us to explore positive outdoor moments in everyday life: seeing the beauty in a rainy day. Commissions by talents such as Danish photographer Kenneth Nguyen, a regular RAINS contributor, Nikolaj Thaning Rentzmann and Scottish duo Stew Bryden and Chris John Millington translate this concept with striking perception.

In addition to creating editorial art for RAINS, Chris John Millington was one of our favourite models last season. His beautiful (and legendary) beard can be found across our Menswear pages. Check out his Personal Style Blog HERE.
