Wellness brand Dibia has created the perfect whipped body butters which are super light yet deeply nourishing. Mixed with organic butters and oils that are rich in vitamins A and E, all their ingredients are natural, holistic and sustainable.
Dibia is the birth child of Ike Muotoh, a London-based graphic designer originally from Nigeria. His vision was to create a line of luxurious body butters that were rooted in nature, that didn't have a negative impact on our natural world, and could be used by absolutely anyone – meaning any skin colour, skin type, age or gender.
The brand launched in London in November 2021, and their products are still all proudly hand-made in their hometown. The all-natural list of ingredients has been inspired by traditional African remedies, with the name Dibia meaning 'Healer' in Igbo (one of the main languages spoken in Nigeria). They are rich in nutrients, sustainably sourced, and are all vegan and cruelty free.
Thanks to their whipped consistency, the body butters are both super light and deeply moisturising. Their light, airy texture means they are easily absorbed, non-greasy and penetrate deeply to nourish the skin. Making them perfect for targeting dry patches or any areas that need some extra love. They can help soothe skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis, and can work wonders at helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars and stretch marks.
Their signature mix is a blend of unrefined shea butter, mango butter, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil and arrowroot powder all working together to provide the healthy glow of softer more supple skin. Their simple yet effective formula is naturally enriched with Vitamins A and E, both superheroes at protecting and regenerating the skin.
The body butters come in 3 varieties: an unscented version which contains purely their signature mix and is especially great to use on sensitive skin; or infused with essential oils, which bring their own holistic properties to the products. Choose between the indulgent woody scent of the Patchouli and Cedarwood blend, which includes an infusion of patchouli, frankincense, myrrh, cedarwood atlas and vanilla. Or the grounding citrusy scent of the Sweet Neroli and Sandalwood blend, which contains a mix of sweet neroli, black pepper, lavender, sandalwood amyris and vanilla.
