SALES ASSOCIATE - Part Time

We are looking for a welcoming, reliable, proactive team player with experience in retail. A large part of this role involves providing outstanding customer service, nurturing relationships with customers and having excellent knowledge of our brands, as well as a commitment to our values of conscious consumerism, ethical fashion and promoting a more sustainable way of living.

Typical work activities include:

- Securing a high number of sales through being fully committed to addressing the needs of the customer
- Nurturing relationships with loyal customers
- Providing excellent customer service and remaining professional, friendly and approachable at all times
- Excellent knowledge of all the brands and products we stock - Attending daily morning briefs with the store manager and rest of the sales team
- Unpacking deliveries of new stock. Steaming, tagging and pricing products ready for the shop floor or putting into order in the stockroom - Maintaining an immaculately organised stockroom and sales floor. Ensuring the highest display standards are constantly being achieved. Ensuring all new season stock and carryovers are on the sales floor and the shop floor is always fully replenished
- Being constantly vigilant to minimise stock losses
- Adopting a pro-active approach to job tasks and working as a team to create a positive working environment

CAFE SUPERVISOR - 3/4 days a week

We are looking for a Cafe Supervisor to come and lead our small team and manage the day to day running of the Cafe. Big part of this role is excellent customer service and coffee-making skills.

Customer service:
- Clear understanding of milk texturising, brew ratios and extraction
- Excellent coffee making and latte art skills and ability to train on them
- Consistently providing great tasting coffee and tasty beverages
- Able to work quickly and efficiently during busy periods
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Preparing pastries and sandwiches for customers, following company recipes and hygiene guidelines

Supervisor responsibilities:
- Changing order quantities to meet the needs of the business with minimum wastage
- keeping track of daily wastage and communicating results to the cafe manager
- Communicating the weekly sales and expenses to cafe manager
- Tracking all cafe expenses consistently and accurately
- Overseeing that the other baristas uphold weekly and daily tasks
- In charge of all ordering for the cafe: food supplies, coffee, cups, fruits for smoothies and cleaning supplies
- Training new baristas
- Organising AllPress training for new baristas to take place as soon as possible from start date
- Looking after all equipment and maintain the highest standard of cleanliness

Barista / Front of House - Part time

We are looking for a highly motivated,  efficient barista who can create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our Cafe. For this role your priority will be exceptional customer service, great coffee and an overall fantastic attention to detail. The role will also include some easy food and pastry prep which we will train you on.

Responsibilities will include:

• Excellent coffee making and latte art skills
• Ability to dial in espresso and filter coffee. Additional training will be provided
• Consistently providing great tasting coffee and tasty beverages
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Able to work quickly and efficient during busy periods
• Interacting with new and regular customers
• Provide outstanding customer service by being fully committed to addressing the needs of the customer
• Looking after all equipment 
• Adhering to health, safety and sanitation guidelines and completing food hygiene course during probation
• Maintaining clean and sanitised working environment
• Seeking out tasks during quieter periods
• Preparing pastries and sandwiches for customers in the morning following company recipes and hygiene guidelines
• Ensuring pastries are displayed neatly and stored correctly.
• Communicating product needs to the cafe manager and keeping a daily record of wastage.
• Assisting the sales team when the shop floor is busy and cafe is quiet
• Contributing to a positive work environment
