Vetra Mens
Vetra’s heritage lies in 1920’s Paris, where Edouard Beerens was gifted as a wedding present from his mother her aprons and overalls atelier. In the next 20 years, the newly established Vetra was making uniforms for the French Army and later the resistance, refused to work for the Nazi’s and after moving to Le Lude, was tracked by the gestapo and continued to make uniforms for the resistance army. Translated from ‘Vetements de Travail’, or ‘Work Wear’, Vetra is known worldwide for its authenticity, devotion and iconic stance as the true working class atelier, ensuring quality garments that channel a truly iconic heritage.
